Beach #2
Daylight test shots from Barcelona with Ilford Delta 3200, shot at EI 1600 and processed in Microphen stock for 6:30 at 24c. This is from a test to explore film and developer options for a higher ISO B&W film than the usual Delta 100 or 400.
Shot with the M7 and 50mm Summilux ASPH with a deep red filter.

LOVE IT!
sometimes grain can make photos look terrible – but I think you’ve nailed it here!
The grain in this photo really ties the tone and mood together!
Keep up the great work :)
Super shot, love the scene but: ..for me the grain a bit too much as it is so uniform.
Yes, I am in two minds about this as the grain has radically different effects depending on the image. I was also hoping for better tonality in the clouds, but it is simply not there on the negatives.
For me, one of the biggest problems with film is always seeming to have the wrong film/rating loaded :-)
