A short set of images to welcome in the new year and wishing everyone the best for 2026.

The last three months have been a tad photographically difficult, with a number of problems that have severely limiting walking. Consequentially the Llobregat explorations have been paused – an unwelcome reminder of just how much photography depends on being able to get around easily.

Instead, much of the time recently has been spent on more sedentary pursuits, such as working to complete the reverse engineering of the µpd933 chip in a Casio CZ synthesiser, and trying to port the resulting emulation to a never-quite-fast-enough embedded ARM Neon platform.

Unfortunately, this is not a great source of photography.

As for now, holidays and a some hope of managing to resume more meaningful imaging in January.
