Plaça de las Caramelles, Barcelona.
Carrer de la Portaferrissa, Barcelona. Shot on HP5+ rated at ISO 3200 and processed in DD-X 1+4.
Porter, La Boqueria, Barcelona. Possibly the only photograph that I have shot there that was not explicitly about the tourists…
La Boqueria, Barcelona. I do not usually like to post photographs from behind people, but in this case I quite liked the correspondence between the different shapes in the image.
La Boqueria, Barcelona. This is quite a good place to practise technique with (on) the tourists, who are usually quite flatted to be photographed.
La Boqueria, Barcelona.
The first of three images where people realised they were being shot (photographically). The M7 is a good street camera, but dressing up in a day-glow yellow t-shirt probably undoes any subtlety that the camera has.
La playa, Barceloneta.
Ciutat Vella, Barcelona.
La Boqueria, Barcelona. Leica M7 with 50mm summilux, HP5+ rated at ISO 3200, and processed in DD-X 1+4.
Police car, tourists and illegal street trading, Moll de Bosch i Alsina, Barcelona.
Fast food kiosk, Moll d’ Espanya, Barcelona.
More yachts and illegal street traders. Moll d’ Espanya, Barcelona. All three images this week were shot late at night on HP5+ rated at ISO 3200. It is very difficult to get clean images, as the film has little exposure latitude when pushed this far and these night scenes contain a lot of contrast.
More HP5+ shot at ISO 3200 on Las Ramblas, Barcelona.
Carrer dels Comtes, Barcelona.
