Another example of how using a 50mm lens is difficult in Barcelona. This was taken at f6.3 ISO10000. I would have liked to have been further back and more depth of field, but there was very little space and very little light.
Carrer Elizabets, Barcelona. This and most of the upcoming shots were taken with the 5DIII and 50mm. In shadow is very very hard to get sharp focus and a fast shutter speed without insanely high ISO values. This image ended up at ISO 12800 at f11.

Another year and another impossibly hot LGBT pride march here in Barcelona – the largest in the mediterranean area. Barcelona is remarkable not just for tolerance, but for its complete acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. The pride march is an amazing mix of all kinds of people, from children to retirees and has an incredibly friendly atmosphere with people dressing up and dancing and generally having a lot of fun. Three 50mm street images, again taken with the Canon 5D Mark III and 50L in Barcelona.
A mixture of soft-core pornography and hard-core science fiction at the Sant Antoni Sunday book market, Barcelona.
It is getting too hot here, and it seems like we have jumped straight from winter in to mid-summer.
